Andrews #6 grind camshaft for Harley-Davidson Big Twin Shovelhead, late 1977 through 1984 (FL, FLH, FX, FXE, FXS 74" and 80" models). New old stock - never installed, no box. The end face carries Andrews' own engraving: ANDREWS 36054 with the grind stamp 6, shown clearly in the photographs. Andrews' installation sheet says to verify the grind by exactly this end stamp. The drive gear face is stamped 36127 and carries the 1.97-inch groove that Andrews uses to distinguish the late-1977-and-later drive gear from the earlier style, which is what dates and fits this cam. The #6 grind is the discontinued hotter version of Andrews' B grind - a strong mid-range street and stroker cam, around .510 lift (Shovel rocker ratio) with roughly 264 degrees duration, pulling from about 2,200 to 6,500 RPM. It was well regarded for 84" and 88" stroker builds. Andrews' current #7 grind (part 212536, about $252 new) is sold as the upgraded version of this exact cam. Per Andrews' instructions, B/6/7/2 grinds install without machine work using their medium-lift upper collars (part 276150) with stock springs.
