Custom-tailored vintage sport coat from Aldo / International Men's Boutique - Las Olas Custom Tailors, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Aldo's was the custom tailoring boutique of the Las Olas strip, established around 1975 (a 1987 Sun-Sentinel business brief calls it "the 12-year-old shop" at 700 E. Las Olas Blvd.), which places this jacket in the late 1970s-1980s. Salt-and-pepper birdseye tweed with multicolor donegal-style flecks (reds and blues pop up close), bold peak lapels on a 2-button front, flap hip pockets, chest welt, black full lining with interior button pocket, center vent, and gold-rimmed black enamel buttons - two front, three per cuff, all present. No fiber tag (custom make); the cloth handles like a substantial wool tweed. Professional dry clean only. Custom-tailored, so no standard size tag - it measures out near a modern 40 (length runs short).
